Bed time soon!

Having been to the shop and purchased our souvenirs, it's time to cuddle up and watch the end of the move before bedtime. Tomorrow, Miss Gayson's and Miss Child's group will be doing Abseil, Vertical challenge and Archery, and Mr Murphy's group will be going for their hill walk.

After those activities, we will get some lunch before setting off home.

Post dinner games

While waiting our turn to go to the shop - groups of about 6 at a time - there are some games to play:

Later . . .

Activities will finish between 4 and 5. This will give the children time to shower and change as necessary after their days activities, before dinner at 6.

Climbing

Meanwhile, Mr Murphy's group are climbing:

Caving

Mid way though the afternoon, the two centre based groups (the third is out hillwalking) have swapped activities - so Miss Gayson's group have gone into the cave complex:

Climbing

And finally, Miss Gayson's group are climbing first.

Just to show you how tall some of the walls are, here is Miss Gayson part way up one of the walls:

And here are some of her group climbing:

Caving

Mr Murphy's group are kicking off their afternoon by caving.

They are using the second of the three cave entrances, which sadly is less photogenic than the first - but you get the idea!

Hill walk

This afternoon, Miss Childs' group prepared for hill walking

Lunchtime

Lunchtime s fast approaching, as we've having our lunch at 12 today. This gives us time to digest it before restarting activities at 13:00.

This afternoon, Miss Gayson's group will be doing climbing and caving, Miss Childs' group will be hillwalking, and Mr Murphy's group will be caving and climbing. As ever, we will bring you as many pictures and reports as we can of those activities.

Archery

Meanwhile, Mr Murphy's group have moved on to archery:

Caving

 Miss Childs' group are caving.

Before caving, we have to get cave suits on as it can be damp in there. As you can see, they are not high fashion items:

And then we go round to the entrance to the cave:

And finally, we go in:

Hillwalk (2)

Here are some pictures from up on the hill:

Vertical challenge

Mr Murphy's group are doing vertical challenge.

First, we need to get a harness on for safety:

This can be done much more quickly if we help each other:

When we're all harnessed and helmeted up, we go round the back of the site and it's our first glimpse of the vertical challenge course:

Which as you can see is very high, with a variety of obstacles on the way up. Sit back and enjoy the pictures of these children climbing it:
